Hello, families and friends of Project Colorado 2025!
Welcome to the Project Colorado blog. I’m Lily Bjorlin, your friendly neighborhood Wooddale Junior High volunteer. I, through the voices of various students, will be sharing updates here regularly during the trip. We will be updating the blog every other day. Expect pictures, personal stories, updates on work projects, and reports on super fun adventures!!!
Our journey kicks off Thursday at 8:00 AM with a prayer session at Wooddale Door 1 before we head out! Our first pit stop will be for lunch in Iowa followed by an overnight stay in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Please keep us in your prayers! We kindly ask for safety during travel, smooth setup when we get to Timberline, peace over students’ anxiety, open hearts for the Holy Spirit, strong work ethic for the upcoming work projects, and lots and lots of energy!!!

Heavenly Father,
As night falls, we thank You for this day and for the opportunity to serve You through this mission trip.
Watch over the students, teachers, and volunteers as they rest tonight.
Grant them peace, protection, and renewal for the journey ahead.
May Your Spirit guide their hearts with compassion, their hands with purpose, and their words with love.
Keep them safe as they travel and united in faith as they do Your work.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
