Sorry for the delay in posting (there was just many fun things to do!), but we have arrived at Timberline at about 5:30 (mountain time!) 🥳

Short recap of the day:
– Breakfast at Perkins (lots of creative use of their budget, and there miiight’ve been a malt or two)
– Mandatory nap time on the bus (everyone’s favorite)
– Lunch in Sterling, CO
– Great shouts of excitement when they first spotted mountains on the horizon
– Lots of gasps at the beauty of the Rockies as we drove up and over the mountains
– Visible joy when they saw how nice the cabins are
– Meeting the Timberline staff and learning all the rules (not the most exciting, but the most necessary)
– Nighttime Nuke’m
– And off to bed!

We will have our first day of work projects tomorrow. Please pray for our bodies to adjust to the altitude quickly, for lots of energy, and servant hearts!
